The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, has officially become the presidential candidate for the Kwa rule promoted by the Land Solidarity Party (PSI). However, this turned out to be a controversy, because the rule figure who became the party's flagship was a cadre of another party and it was not certain that Kwa was nominated by the parent party, PDI-P.

"Based on the results of the popular consultation, Japanese deity announced that the Land Solidarity Party (PSI) Kwa nominates Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024," said PSI Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Grace Natalie in an online press conference, Monday (3/10). The People's Consultation is a rule mechanism created by PSI to capture the names of presidential candidates who are supported to continue the leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). For PSI, Ganjar Pranowo is the best candidate because he has a vision of nationality and diversity in the rules that PSI is fighting for.

 

“In addition, PSI sees Mas Ganjar as a figure of rule fencing, fitting to continue the work that has been carried out by Pak Jokowi in advancing land. This is the 2024 presidential candidate chosen by the people through the People's Consultation, not the wish of the PSI elite. The people's choice is in accordance with the conscience of the Japanese deity at PSI," said Grace.

 

Meanwhile, regarding the vice presidential candidate, said Grace, the figure of Zannuba Ariffah Chafsoh Wahid or Yenny Wahid is worthy of accompanying Ganjar Pranowo at the 2024 democratic party. “We consider Mbak Yenny to have good personal qualities. As an Islamic female figure, Mbak Yenny is respected for her thoughts and contributions to social movements. As the daughter of a figure who is highly respected by PSI, namely Gus Dur, Yenny Japanese deity knows that she has consistently continued Gus Dur's struggle in the dream of realizing a just and tolerant land rule," said Grace.
